VOGT over time

1954

Richard Vogt and his brothers Otto and Fritz started their legacy in a small metalworking shop in Santiago, Chile.

1958

We manufactured the first centrifugal pumps for the agricultural and construction markets.

1968

We signed an agreement with Allweiler AG to manufacture in Chile the Multistage Pump series.

1979

The joint stock company Industria Mecánica VOGT S.A. is legally incorporated.

1985

The Irrigation Promotion Law was enacted, capturing a key part of the technified irrigation market during its boom in Chile.

1994

Ricardo Vogt assumed the operational leadership of our company, succeeding his father, Richard Vogt.

2000

We had surpassed 80,000 pumps manufactured in Chile.

2004

We awarded duplex steel pumps for highly acidic liquids at Codelco Salvador.

2005

We developed the first Floating Raft Pump, a product that would become the most successful solution for mining applications.

2005

We obtained the first invention patent registration for the Low Suction Vertical Cantilever Pump.

2005

We awarded Low Suction Vertical Pumps for lithium mining in Chile.

2007

We awarded Cantilever Floating Pumps in Duplex for mine bottom dewatering at Minera Los Pelambres.

2010

We manufacture the largest pumps in our history, capable of moving up to 3,000 m³/hour with 500 HP motors.

2015

We signed a commercial agreement with Grundfos for the exclusive commercialization of Standard Pumps under the VOGT brand.

2016

We awarded VTP Titanium Pumps Gr.12 for Minera Spence.

2017

We awarded Low Suction Vertical Pumps for lithium mining in Argentina.

2018

We awarded Titanium Pumps for a high chloride leachate process.

2019

Ricardo Vogt transfers the general management to Alberto Campos, who has since led the current stage of our company.

2019

We awarded a Prefabricated Modular Electrical Room for Codelco Salvador.

2020

We awarded the largest water hammer pond 50,000 lts MAPA Project of ARAUCO.

2021

We awarded the first IIot Project (Industrial Internet of Things) in Minera Los Pelambres wells. Allowing to visualize in real time the instantaneous and total flows that are extracted from the catchment wells.

2022

On June 13, we started productive, commercial and administrative operations in our new facilities in Quilicura, Santiago/Chile.

2022

We awarded 60 self-priming Skid Self-Priming Pumps for Albemarle.

2023

We awarded our first project on another continent: a floating pumping system in an estuary, designed for a power plant in Côte d’Ivoire.
